Rachael Bermingham and Kim McCosker are the innovators of this unique little gem called '4 Ingredients'. This book contains over 340 quick and simply recipes that have been experimented, taste tested and approved of before making it into the pages of the paperback book.

Rachael and Kim were friends from the time they were children and when this idea came up they joined together and made the idea into a reality. This idea has made them top international bestsellers (second to Harry Potter) and the number one bestseller in Australia, their home country.

Family Life All The Way

The most amazing thing about this success story is how their fame and success has been controlled to the extent that their family lives have not been disrupted. Together with their husbands, they can all work together as a team and are able to feel the comfort of knowing that their young pre-school children always have either mum or dad around to look after them.

As always success did not come easy. They had to put in the hard work, overcome the risk factors and the gather all their strengths and talents to make this dream come true. When they first approached publishers with their simplistic recipe book, they were not taken seriously.

Spurred on by the belief that there was indeed a place in the market for this product, Rachael and Kim’s families took the plunge of self-funding the project and published the book independently using every resource they had available (which included mortgaging their homes) only to prove the big dogs wrong.

Now the two mothers are working on a TV series that will be launched in September on channel 31 in Australia where they will be presenting a ‘life-style’ show that will incorporate cooking as well as presenting a good-living aspect of life.
